So I've been hitting the needle felting pretty hard. My husband came up with a great idea the other night when I asked, "what should I felt?" "Oh, you should make a little Robert Smith doll!"
Wow... what an epiphany! I've seriously always thought Robert would make an awesome stuffed animal, and needle felting the boy seemed like a great idea. Thus, I share with you my ode to the Cure cutie:

Oh...My...I (who knows why and perhaps you'll think I'm nuts) immediately started thinking about all the Tim Burton inspired felted characters you could make...Edward Scissorhands...Beetlejuice...the list would just be endless.
Awww...so cute. So sad. Reminds me of the toddler Dream/Death image in one of the Sandman galleries.
There you go: The (Felt) Endless.
OMGoodness! I'm totally with Christine up there!! How cool would that be! Plus..Jen, please pardon my ignorance...but could you blog a little about what and how one needle felts--I have no idea!!
I started knitting a scarve this holiday--my first ever!! I'm so excited!
Glad we're both having needles of fun! Hahahahaha!
Peace & Love.
Thanks everyone! I would love to do Edward Scissorhands as well as the Endless. Would that be ok in terms of copy right? (I would love to send Mr. Neil a Sandman or Delirium!)
Connie, I will blog about it soon... in fact, I'll show the process on my next piece. It's really quite easy and fun. ;)
