Hello Hedgehogs!

I may have mentioned in the past that I adore hedgehogs and one day hope to enjoy the companionship of a little fellow myself. In the meantime, I must content myself with enjoying hedgehogs vicariously.

Today I bring you some of my favorite hedgehog Etsy selections!

A New Look. A New Name.

What the heck is going on here? Where am I?

It's a new look and a new blog for 2011!

I have been pondering and scheming for quite some time in regards to how I want to move forward with my art, needle felting and various creative projects for the new year. This is the first step in what I am sure will be an ever-evolving entity.

Wondering about the new name? Well, things were getting a bit confusing what with Jennifer Hayes Art web site, Etsy shop and blog... since I've been Jennifer Hugon for  about 5 years now! So, I'm going to slowly phase those items out (although I think the shop may stay around for awhile as a place to sell the artistic odds and ends I accumulate), and begin to phase in Secret Place.

There is a story behind that name, one I will share when it feels right. (Ooh, suspense! I love surprises!)

I apologize to any of my blog followers who may have lost the blog trail what with all the name and URL switch-a-roos. I promise I'll make it up to you ;)

Uni Student Wish List Review

The Uni Student Wish List is a very cool site that caters to University students looking for cool products that fit a student budget:

"University life means wanting a whole load of swag, with close to no budget. This is the place to find out what is worth spending your money on. Tech, clothes, accessories, books and everything else. Don't waste your money on things that you don't need and don't waste your free time having to go shopping. You keep tossing the frisbee around and let us do the hard work for you. Welcome, to Uni Student Wish List."

This week, the Uni Wish List has reviewed a Woolykin! The vampire bun, to be specific. You can read the full review here. Thank you to the Uni Student Wish List for such a kind review! I know "Frank" will love his new home.
